Have you ever thought about how frightened the surrounding birds are of you, a dog, cat or any other animals out there. We don't feel it, because we already get used of this kind of situation. When I refer to my Bible, Adam named the animals in the Garden of Eden, he could talk and communicate with them. Everyone got along in a perfect harmony. Try imagine that...
Why do animals fear about us?? Well, why wouldn't they- for the worst part, we are hunting them down, eat their flesh and destroying the habitats. In return, animal parents teach their children to be afraid of us, because humans are the killer, destroyer and bad ass. The animal kingdom often sees us as a bad creatures.
Let's try to change that and regain back their trust. We need to be their keepers, because we have live on the same planet for several billions years. Treat the animals well... they are also god's creatures as we were.. Treat them well with respect.........
Why do dogs have the sense of responsibility to protect their owner? Dogs is unlike any other animals, because they always try to protect their master from any harms. Everyone knows that dogs is a very good companion to families or in the police force. When I first saw the video above, I'm so curious about why dogs willing to sacrifice the life to save their owner. So, I search for it and found a true story about a loyal dog loses life to protect its owner.
"Tragedy fell in Oklahoma's dog on Friday when it was killed by police for defending its injured owner following a traffic accident.
Charles was laying in the road in the southbound lane of 75 just past the 21st Street exit with his faithful dog at his side. When an officer attempted to assist him the dog became aggressive. Confused and obviously stressed by the incident, the dog was doing its best to keep watch over its guardian, and in the process, was preventing him from receiving medical assistance. A Tulsa man is recovering in critical condition following surgery for injuries sustained when he was struck by a motor vehicle while walking his dog. According to police, Gregory Charles Sr.,48, was attempting to cross Highway 75 just south of the downtown area when he was hit by a 1995 Honda driven by Tracy Wallace of Tulsa. Wallace was not injured in the incident, but Charles suffered serious injuries and was debilitated when police arrived on the scene.
The officer attempted to use a metal baton to protect himself while approaching the victim, but the dog would not relent. Fearing for the injured man’s life, the officer was left with no choice: he withdrew his firearm and discharged it, killing the dog and allowing paramedics to rush to the aid of his master."
The incident raises obvious questions about current and future preparedness for emergencies involving animals. Was every possibility considered? Were there alternatives available to the officer before choosing to use lethal force? Given the urgency of the situation and the speed with which events unfolded, answers to those questions will likely remain elusive.
Recently, I find something interesting on newspaper where citizens in my country are trying to improve their understanding with animals. The organizer of the event, Syed Azmi Alhasbshi has organized the first ever ' I Want to Touch a Dog ' event on Sunday morning at Central Park, Petalling Jaya. This has attracted a curious crowd of more than 800 people gathered at the Central Park.
The event, aimed at dispelling negative perception of dogs particularly among Muslims, started out as a small get-together for those curious about dogs. It turned out to be one of the largest impromptu events, organized in just three weeks. Half of those present were Muslims, many wearing yellow - the colour that the organiser had designated for those who wanted to touch a dog, with orange for those who only came to watch the animals.Volunteers and pet owners wore red. The colour codes allowed those present to observe their personal boundaries and to get to know the dogs at their own comfort level. I'm very happy to see Muslims so eager to learn about and touch the dogs. I really do hope events such as these continue and I hope that I can participate.
I feel mad when people are trying to harm animals and they think they have the rights to do it. I strongly oppose people with this kind of thought. I just recalled back about an incident for a few months ago, a man shot a dog with 2 arrows. THIS KIND OF ACTION IS SO RIDICULOUS!!!
The dog, named Brianna (a.k.a. Bree) which means "strong", was rushed to Animal Medical Centre (AMC) for emergency treatment. The vet at AMC treated the wound, but refused to admit Bree overnight as she was heavily infested with ticks. They brought Bree back to our Halfway Home where she was given a tick bath the next day, before we admit her to one of our regular vet clinics for further treatment.

The Two Arrows Removed from Bree's Leg and Back
Besides being partially blind and suffering from hip dysplasia, Bree was diagnosed with anemia and severe tick fever, as well as tested positive for heartworms.
To become a vet medicine, it may take 5 years or up to 10 years in MALAYSIA. In Malaysia, there is no private university who have the course of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Therefore, I have worked so hard until now for me to become a vet in the future. I'm now studying in University Putra Malaysia Kampus Bintulu, Sarawak. I take up Diploma in Animal Health and Poultry Production which consists of 7 semester.
All of you who read my blog want to be vets. It’s not an easy career path and it’s definitely not easy to get into veterinary school. To someone who want to become a vet, I just want to say. Don’t Give Up! A lot of people don’t get in the first time , second time or even third time. But university remember if you’ve applied multiple times. A lot of people have been asking what my SPM result so they can get an idea of their chances. To be honest I am definitely not the ideal candidate . I had 8As out of 10 subjects . I experienced in small animal clinics just want to keep a good relationship with the animals.
World of animal is so complicated and can be divided into few families. As a student of Diploma in Animal Health, we need to have basic knowledge towards cat, dog and etc. Animals are not like human, they can't express their words to vet. So, to become a vet, I need to find the symptoms of sickness, so that I can provide the best treatment to the animals.
I wish that one day I can become member of VET's FAMILY!!!
